Sean Manning
Sean Manning (Ziltek) - Sean is Ziltek's Chief Scientific Officer. He completed his PhD in optical physics at the University of Adelaide in 2012. After a short post-doctoral stint with the Institute for Photonics & Advanced Sensing, he spent six years working on optical communications technologies for The Defence Science & Technology Organisation. During this time Sean also co-founded his start-up Sensability, which has licensed its patented optical sensing technologies and is working towards full commercialisation. Sean left DSTO in 2018 to pursue a career in private industry with Ziltek. He is focussed on developing Ziltek's core technology, RemScan, by adding new sensing modalities and analytes as well as improved software features and the overall user experience.
