Since 2018 I have been actively studying the presence of Per-and Polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) in the environment and in consumer products. I have currently partnered up with Eurofins to develop accurate, precise, and reproducible analytical methods for identifying and quantifying microplastics in surface water, soil, sand, and biota (e.g., mollusks).
